Sri Center is a non-sectarian and non-profit center founded in 1970 by Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar. Its goal is to synthesize ancient Indian wisdom and artistic expression with modern science and psychology for the purpose of discovering the SELF.

Sri Center is a major sponsor of Sri Shyamji’s system of InnerTuning® which it offers at various locations. After moving to the United States, Sri Shyamji developed a unique psychospiritual theory called Microchakra Psychology™. This theory profoundly enriches the classical understanding of the chakras. It explains how combinations of openings and blockages in the chakras (centers of subtle energy) affect our thoughts feelings and bodily functions. His method of InnerTuning® combines this theory with the science of sound (microtones and mantras) which influence the positive energy flow to the microchakras.

Additionally, a variety of ancient and modern techniques are taught designed to purify the system and harmonize the individual with the natural cosmic rhythms.

In support of its mission Sri Center offers weekly classes, seminars, retreats, private and group study. It has sponsored some of the greatest Indian artists to perform in the U.S and regularly sponsors public discourses by rare spiritual teachers from across the globe.
