Nurturing Intuition

Chakras are spinning wheels of energy they radiate from the back of the body. The sixth chakra is located above the first cervical vertebrae, and at base of the brain. In front of the body it radiates from the midpoint of the two eyebrows, as it is sometimes called “the third eye”. It is the seat of intuition. This chakra has two shiny white petals which connect with the left and right hemispheres of the brain. It also adjoins to the animal brain which connects to the Central Channel where all our accumulated wisdom is stored from previous lives.
The two breathing channels, ida (lunar) and pingala (solar), resolve into unity at this point. This unique junction makes it possible to transcend both thoughts and feelings. The veil of duality thins as awareness is above the sensory perception of the first five chakra minds. Intuition reaches its zenith when the sixth chakra is activated.
In this workshop we will learn how each of the 6th microchakras can be nurtured to blossom. This pertains to the quality of discernment in regards to food and sleep, relationships, autonomy, love, creativity, and most importantly, intuition .We will also explore how the animal brain connects to the Central Channel for intuitive wisdom and its accessibility via the 7th microchakras in each Chakra.
Sacred sounds will be utilized as well as specific breathing practices. The workshop will conclude with Sri Shyamji playing the tambura (ancient instrument) which produces resonant vibrations. These unique sound vibrations create a space which enables the senses to turn inward where intuition can emerge.
